Fueling Our Future

Pending 501c3 Status

The Pacific Northwest Transportation Culture Foundation is a Washington nonprofit corporation. Its application for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) is currently pending with the IRS, as of July 2026. If (when!) approved, the Foundation expects its exempt status to be recognized retroactively to its date of formation. Donors should consult their tax advisers regarding deductibility.

As a Washington nonprofit, we still welcome your gift, but understand certain contributions will only come once our federal tax-exempt status is approved. If you'd like to contribute any amount at this time or commit to a future gift, your support will allow us to continue our outreach and pave the road toward our goals.

To make a donation please email Board President Brian Corey at brian@carsandcopymedia.com. He will be happy to assist in facilitating your gift.

How We'll Invest Your Donation

At this early stage, every donation helps move the Pacific Northwest Transportation Culture Foundation closer to making the museum a reality. Contributions will support public outreach, community events, partnerships, site exploration, professional planning, and the tools needed to build credibility and momentum. Funds may also cover essential services such as bookkeeping, donor records, insurance, legal support, and accounting, while a portion will be reserved and invested toward the long-term goal of acquiring property and developing a permanent museum campus.

Donate a Vehicle or Artifact

We are excited to begin building our permanent collection that will be the core of our transportation museum. If you're looking for a new home for a cherished land, sea or air vehicle, or another item that will capture imaginations and tell the story of of how our region movies, we would be honored to be its new caretakers.

Naming Opportunities

Imagine your name, your business, or...your pet's name?...etched into the walls of Whatcom County's newest cultural destination. As we build out the museum, we are seeking individuals interested in leaving a lasting legacy who would like the opportunity to name galleries, plazas, programs, collections, educational areas or other spaces in and around our facility.
